EDUCATION: Nature Center Docents, Trainings, Maintenance

Do you love sharing nature with others? Join us at our outdoor learning lab along the Florida River!

Docents will assist an SJMA staff member in guiding the public. Visitors to the nature center are offered a free-form visit but they sometimes have questions or love a little nugget of nature knowledge. Shifts are Saturdays, and Sundays starting May 17 until October 4. Days and times vary depending on the month.

We will have a training for volunteer naturalists who wish to assist with our school programs. This will take place on October 17.

We also have opportunities to help eradicate invasive plants on Weeding Wednesdays.
