Education: Science Ramblers Volunteer

Help SJMA staff with after-school San Juan Science Ramblers! We are looking for one volunteer for each program date. 

Our after-school programs rely on support from volunteers like you, your time helps us create more 1:1 learning opportunities for youth. Volunteers are welcome to assist SJMA staff or lead education on their own if they feel comfortable.  You can learn more about this program here. 

Volunteers will meet the Science Ramblers program at Park Elementary in Durango at 3pm and travel with education staff and students to local public lands for activities. Science Ramblers takes place every Wednesday during the school year - volunteers are welcome to sign up for as many or as few shifts as they would like to attend. 

All education volunteers need to undergo a background check with SJMA. If you sign up, but need to cancel later, please try to give us at least 5 days notice so we can find someone to fill in for you!
